Motorsports in Sargent? What's going on?

Sandhills Motorsport Park was approved for a conditional use permit in 2009 to host amatuer club motocross/atv and dirt racing events. Most of these events already exist in and around Sargent. Our goal is to give our area motorsort hobbyists a safe, secure, and permanent place to play. The park is located on private land just south of Sargent City limits on S. 7th Street. The tracks main focus is Bike and ATV's and a monster mini track for pee wees. We also provide a bike/quad wash rack which is located to the west when you enter the property. Practice is $10 per rider and spectators free. We encourage everyone to call before they come up to practice...

Track now runs clockwise direction---start gate faces west and blends into right off camber downhill turn--- ski jump: 30' to clear---uphill left turn-gravity cavity double:75' to safety,severe elevation drop in gap---step up jump out of cavity----right hairpin lined by 5' berm---dogleg left---85' triple---hairpin left--- table top----right hairpin---(you're now along the west fence going north) step on/off ---whoops---roller(whoops can be cleared in 2 leaps doubling out onto the roller---sweeping righht turn----large step up/double 55' to clear, severe elevation change---deep,downhill bowl turn right (the tire turn)---55' double---hard left----40' triple---deep right bowl turn---anti whoops----left sweeping hairpin----single to table: 60' to clear all----finish line triple:90' to clear,33' to doble single,60' to land on table---right sweeping hairpin to downhill..........That's a lap!

Lots of clay added....jumps are very lofty and provide big air .....all obstacles have shorter/safer landing options with the exception of the gravity cavity double---its a "make it or break it" jump.....corners now have considerably larger berms and banks.......Have Fun!
